If that’s $10 Canadian, that means they’re, like, $2.50 US together, eh?

Not anymore. The canadian dollar is worth about the same as ours now. Killing their border town economies.
Also, there is now no longer a single reason other than french strippers/students to ever go to Canada.

True story: Last Saturday or the Saturday before that, my accounting intructor told us that the weak dollar is not an issue with only one side. It has been beneficial for America, bringing in more jobs.
Indeed, he said that if one reads the newspapers in England, France, and elsewhere in Europe, he says one will see them wringing their hands in frustration. “Look how clever that Bush is!” he says they say. “Under our very noses, he pulled some fancy trick by weakening the dollar, and now he’s stealing our money and jobs and goods!”
In America, all the newspapers can’t stop ranting on how stupid Bush is.
It’s all a matter of perspective, he says.

Musli, you wouldn’t be an accounting major?
I cannot believe there is a blog dedicated to ottomans, or jeff’s for that matter.

Accounting major? Heavens no! I’m in an MBA program and accounting is something we all have to take. Our first class, in fact.
